Last month Foxy Brown was thrown into solitary confinement at Riker’s Island after committing several violations including getting into a shoving match with a fellow inmate. Now because of her good behavior, the rapper was let out of solitary this week and was allowed to rejoin the rest of the population. She was supposed to serve 76 days in solitary, but only did 40 days.

"Foxy is out and her spirits never wavered," Brown’s manager Chaz Williams told Billboard.com. "While in solitary, she continued to answer each and every fan letter. She also told me she wrote some pretty hot songs while there. She’s back in the law library and looks forward to ending this chapter in her life."

As previously reported, her new album, “Brooklyn Don Diva”, was pushed back to February, 5 2008.
