In a developing story, rapper French Montana was involved in a drive-by shooting in Philadelphia Thursday night.

NBC reports that two people were injured and a 27-year-old man was killed after being shot in the stomach as the perpetrators opened fire on French Montana’s tour bus after a concert performance.

It’s just ignorant. You fire into a crowd and you’re gonna hit somebody. In this case, unfortunately, someone was killed. Don’t know if they had anything to do with anything, if they were a fan or what,” Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey told the news outlet.

French Montana was not happy about being involved in the drive-by incident. “Nobody got time for this [expletive]” the rapper tweeted on his account, along with a photo of himself being question by police.

Though the shooting occurred after French Montana’s concert, neither he nor his entourage are not believed to be the targets in the shooting, authorities said, and neither victim had any ties to the rapper.

Drive-by shootings have been too convenient in the rap world recently. Earlier this year, Rick Ross was involved in a drive-by shooting in Florida while celebrating his birthday with a female friend.

French Montana is expecting to release his debut album, Excuse My French, in May, which will also feature collaborations with Rick Ross, Akon, Wale, Meek Mill, Kirko Bangz and more. He originally was expected to release the album in April. Montana discussed the reason for pushing the album back earlier this week with Billboard.

I’m just learning from all these people that have been in the game before me, that have multiple albums out,” Montana said. “There’s certain things people can tell you and certain things you just have to learn as you’re being a hustler and being a student of the game. You have to watch people and learn. I feel like I’ve graduated with a master’s degree.
