Ghostface embarks on his headlining Adult Swim tour today, but as soon as he’s done with this tour on October 19, he’s heading out on another to hit the spots he missed. This time he’ll be joined by hip-hop legend Rakim and Brother Ali on the “Hip-Hop Live! Tour.” The tour launches on October 29 in Los Angeles and will run until November 21, ending in Philadelphia.
All three emcees will be backed by a 10-piece live band named Rhythm Roots All-Stars.
"Hip-Hop’s roots are nourished by live music,” Rakim said. “For artists who dug through crates searching for the perfect sample, always trying to replicate the sounds of a full band, standing on a stage, moving the crowd in front of this talent is both the nexus and the pinnacle of what we do.”
