It’s being reported that Gucci Mane is being released from his bid next week after serving close to six months behind bars.
Hot 97’s Angie Martinez made the announcement yesterday saying:

Gucci Mane is expected to be released from Fulton County Jail next Wednesday, May 12. Gooch will be touching down just in time to perform at this year’s annual, star-studded Summer Jam concert on June 6. One week earlier on Friday, May 28, the ATLien and his 1017 Brick Squad will host a party at Miami’s King of Diamonds Gentlemen’s Club.

Gucci also recently fired his manager Debra Atney (Waka’s mom) and his management team, Mizay Entertainment. He also let go of his booking agency Hitt Afta Hitt Enterprises. Gucci is suing both companies claiming that they booked him in several cities throughout the country without disclosing that the rapper was headed to jail.
Gooch even shut down his So Icey Entertainment imprint and is now the CEO of his new label he started up from jail, 1017 Brick Squad Records Inc. Artists on the new label include Gucci, Waka Flocka and OJ a Juiceman.
Gucci spoke with AllHipHop.com on his new venture saying:

“The rest of 2010 is going to be real major,” Gucci Mane told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (May 4th).  “I’m taking control of all of my business properties and keeping the focus on my career, my music and my artists. All the pieces to the puzzle are finally in place and once I get home it’s Gucci time.”

Uh oh. Sounds like Gucci did a lot of thinking while locked up and is about to make some major moves. It’s Gucci time…
