HIP-HOP CHARTS: R&B Dominates; Jeezy hangs in Top 10

This week’s top 10 slots for sales were dominated by R&B acts with Ne-Yo settling into #3 with 333,220 units sold in two weeks.  Three of the top ten were debuts which included the Pussycat Dolls at #5 with 73,950 copies, Jazmine Sullivan’s Fearless with a surprising #6 debut selling 65,540 units, and Joe’s Joe Thomas at #8 with 54,136 units.  The only rapper that managed to hang on was Young Jeezy, who is almost gold with 450,860 units sold and the #9 spot.

Although Jadakiss hasn't really been making waves when it comes to the album format, he's still a legend in the game -- there's no question about that. His last album was 2009's The Last Kiss, which featured some stellar cuts -- including single "By My Side" -- but since then Jada's mostly been hard at work with his fellow LOX brothers. However, all of that changed recently when the Yonkers emcee dropped his latest album, Top 5 Dead or Alive. And he's now sharing the visuals to one of the album's many highlights, the Ne-Yo and Nipsey Hussle assisted "Ain't Nothin' New," produced by Beat Butcha, Buda & Grandz. New Music: Jeezy – “GOD”

After celebrating the release of his watershed major label debut album, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, over ten years ago -- Jeezy has announced a new album that will drop later this year. So far the album doesn't have a title, although it will drop in November (the 13th is the date being passed around right now) and he's sharing its first single in "GOD." New Music: Ne-Yo – “She Knows” Feat. Juicy J

Ne-Yo and Juicy J have teamed up to deliver a strip club banger for the autumn season. Despite Ne-Yo's forte being in the love song/dance lane, Juicy J comes in to give him a much needed helping hand seeing as Juicy pops bands on the regular. With that being said, the track is certainly ratchet and the Dr. Luke production helps accentuate that feeling. Be on the lookout for "She Knows" in all the strip clubs this season. I just think of anything I’d rather do than hear you sing 😉 He’s been doin it right every since, with Closer , He is SSMMOOOTTHHH … that is what I’m talkn bout..mmmmmnnnnn.. hello? did you see him work that chair in Sexy love ? The bathtub, the hat… He loves his work.
