What do we got here?  Another rapper?  Unfortunately the answer is yes.  Fortunately the MC from Spring Hill, Florida is not like most.  The Brazilian born rapper was raised by a Puerto Rican family in Long Island, and discovered his talent for word spitting in a mostly white community of Spring Hill Florida.  These are just some of the contributing factors that allow for Laws to have a unique perspective in the over saturated world or rappers.  The thing that struck me about Laws was his very realistic perspective of his role in this thing of ours.  He knows that in the grand scheme of things he still has much to prove. An obstacle he seems excited to conquer.  Laws and I discussed the changing landscape of hip-hop, his super dope 5:01 mixtape, and how a dude from a small Florida town managed to get a major label record contract.  You should really check out that tape and the dope videos I threw in that story.  Give him more than just one listen.  The word play is slightly more complicated that a OJ Da Juiceman track if you catch my drift…
