iHipHop Exclusive Interview: Raekwon Speaks On If He Still Has Faith In RZA & What He Would Do With 20 Million Dollars

I recently swung by EMI’s New York office to chop it up with Raekwon about his upcoming album, Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang. The Chef explained how the album is the ideal mix of styles, evenly displaying the grimy Wu-Tang sound we know and love as well as the flashier style of coke rhyming we’ve come to expect from Rae.  I actually got him to open up (barely) about a new Wu-Tang Clan album and if he has faith in RZA overseeing another project.  Other subjects discussed include why New York artists aren’t popping in the same capacity as in the ’90s, his thoughts on Bronze Nazareth, the craziest places he’s toured, and what he would do with 20 million dollars.

Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang drops March 8th and features guest appearances from Ghostface Killah, Nas, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Rick Ross, Black Thought, Lloyd Banks, Jim Jones, and more.  You can pre-order on iTunes now.
