Everyone’s path to a career in the music business is a different one, and that fact alone definitely hits home with newcomer, ANTHM.

The Manhattan lyricist and Duke University graduate who was born Anteneh Addisu, traded in the suits that he used to wear as a trader on Wall Street for the more recognizable Hip-Hop attire of jeans, sneakers, and T-shirts in order to make his real dreams a reality.

After deciding to follow his true passion, he followed the protocol of making his round via the internet, releasing quality material leading up to his When We Were Kings project, and now his upcoming album, Joy & Pain. We were able to get the Blue Devil to stop by our office to talk about his background as an institutional trader, his education, working with Blu, his upcoming projects and much more.
