It goes without saying that DJ Premier and Bumpy Knuckels (aka Freddie Foxxx) are legends in the game. Despite frequent collaborations with one another, starting in 1997 on OC’s “Win The G,” the two have yet to put together a full-length project until this year.
Interestingly enough, Premo and Bumpy’s album, KoleXXXion, contains only beats that were rejected by other artists such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Immortal Technique.
In this exclusive interview with iHipHop.com, the two veterans break down why it took so long for this album to come to fruition. Bumpy also speaks in depth on how the Internet has changed the rap game. This is a can’t-miss for any Premier or Bumpy Knuckles fan.
