The land of Brooklyn, New York has long been one of the most well known breeding grounds for MC’s. With the legendary lyricists sitting high atop the mountain, a new generation of wordsmiths from the famed borough are making their path to greatness also; and Maffew Ragazino happens to be one of them.
Hailing from the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, this New York native has heavyweights such as Clark Kent and DJ Premier in his corner. But not one to live on a co-sign alone, he’s been making the rounds and keeping his name in the conversation with projects like his Rhyme Pays album, collaborations with Das Racist and Harry Fraud, and more.
We were able to catch up with Maff as he discussed being recognized, his sneaker game, and what to further expect from him.
