Are Diggy Simmons And Willow Smith The Superstars Of Tomorrow?

Will Smith`s daughter, Willow has a real popular track out called “Whip My Hair” and is signed to Roc Nation . Diggy Simmons has signed with Atlantic Records and numerous other sponsors. These young artist are getting a lot of credit for being so amazing at a young age, I wonder if it is because who their parents are that gives them this advantage? It doesn’t matter why but it seems like they are the future of the industry.

In a recent interview Diggy addressed his situation as a potential superstar:
“I am happy to be a part of this. I think that this is the most beautiful thing. Justin Beiber being my homey for a year and a half now. To watch him blow up and his progression is great. I’ve just met Jaden Smith a few weeks ago. He is a real cool kid, very talented. And Willow, you might see something from us coming out. It’s great man. My homey Lil’ Twist is doing his thing. There are some young artists on the come up at Def Jam doing their thing. And it’s not like we’re all good enough for our age. I feel that all of us that are making a name for ourselves are as good as anybody; we can hold our own.”

I personally feel like the majors have such a strong machine that whether you hate or love the music of their artist its a good chance that it will be crammed down your throat one way or the other. I`m not knocking these kids but its just they have the a slightly unfair advantage due to family ties.

A mere day after his 14-year-old sister Willow dropped a brand new track featuring SZA, Jaden Smith returns the favor with a new album. Entitled CTV2, Jaden has made the entire project available via his very own music app. While the project is a brief eight tracks one particular track "Let It Breathe" clocks in at over ten minutes. Needless to say Jaden continues his reputation as a stream-of-consciousness, liberated spirit on the project (see previous releases like "Trophy" and "Melancholy" for reference). Judging strictly by her new track Willow Smith appears to be following in the creative footsteps of her older brother, Jaden. You may recall the recent transformation, of sorts, young Jaden has miraculously gone under. He's finding his voice in the music world, releasing strange and uniquely perplexing rap songs. From his cut "Trophy" to spitting morose bars over Pink Floyd's "Melancholy" the kid's got an interesting perspective on the world. So Willow is taking some notes, releasing "Female Energy", a freestyle that is equal balance introspective track and brilliantly imaginative songwriting. She just sounds so free on the song.
