I wish someone would have asked me where J-Kwon was, I would of told you he`s probably somewhere getting tipsy, ha ha no but seriously the Rapper was reported missing a few days ago ( read about that here but thankfully he contacted his label, Gracie Entertainment .
He declined to make an official statement, but co-CEO of Gracie, Dorian Washington states:
“I am very happy to let everyone know that I personally spoke with J-Kwon today, and he is okay. He’d like to send a sincere apology to his friends and everyone who showed concern this week. He was taking some time to himself as he sometimes does, not realizing that people would start to worry after a while.
“A few days out of touch versus a month is quite a difference. Right now he just wants to keep doing what he’s doing, and will be more available for those who care about him. We thank you again for your outreach, and we are relieved to know he’ll be alright.”
I know how scary it is for an artist to go up missing so soon before an album drops, I can see why they were sweating it. The good thing about all this is that for a few days his name was on every blog again, realistically though who the hell actually wants to hear a hood hop part 4.5?!?
