I thought this was the best song off Watch The Throne. Overall I think my expectations were too high for the album. I think I was also just turned off by the fact I spent all my time on hip-hop blogs/websites, and I legitimately believe that 99% of hip-hop bloggers/writers would walk to Brooklyn to get Jay-Z a piece of cheesecake if he asked them to. Watch The Throne is a good album. The production is phenomenal. Definitely better than Jay & Kanye’s raps. Plus I just don’t think I’m in the luxury rap state of in these days. At the end of the day these dudes can get people to universally listen and discuss their music. Not a lot of artist can do that regardless of the genre.
