According to HipHopDX Jay-Z may have to take the stand again in the court of law. This time for Rick Ross aka the Teflon Don. Freeway Ricky Ross claims that Rick Ross has used his name and image to obtain a successful rap career. Not only does he target rapper Rick Ross in the lawsuit, but also Jay-Z who signed Rick Ross to Def Jam back in 2006 when he was president of the label.

Both Jay-Z and Rick Ross may have to appear in court to testify. The lawsuit also lists Jay-Z, Maybach Music Group, Slip-N-Slide Records, and UMG Recordings as defendants in the case. Freeway Ricky Ross and his lawyers are also hoping to block the release of Ross’s, next album The Teflon Don. The album is expected to be released next month. Freeway Ricky Ross is trying to get 10 million dollars from the Miami rapper who shares his name.

I don’t think Ricky will get anything because Rick Ross says it clearly on that Albert Anastasia Mixtape that is heating the streets up. He thinks he’s Big Meech, Larry Hoover, and MC Hammer.  And on his next album he plans to be John Gotti aka The Teflon Don. To hear Freeway Ricky Ross side of the story click the name.
