Who would have thought that a series sponsored by Gatorade could spawn such a dope song?  Produced by Chicago legend/Kanye’s mentor, No I.D., “We Can Do It” is what Dwayne Wade refers to as a “Chicago Anthem that’s in Hip Hop.”  The song which was inspired by FSN’s REPLAY series features Jennifer Hudson singing her heart out over a blues string infused instrumental.  Lupe kills this and Common does his thing while staying more on topic. REPLAY gives athletes a second chance to redeem themselves by reuniting teams that haven’t play together in 10+ years and letting them play their rivals.  The artists on “We Can Do It Now” were appropriately selected because this season pits Chicago’s Bloom Township Trojans against the Brother Rice Crusaders, in a rematch from a controversial 2000 championship game.   You can learn more about REPLAY here.
