Jim Jones was making the rounds yesterday appearing on stage last night in his Hip-Hop Monologues: Inside the Mind and Life of Jim Jones and having previously made an appearance in a Manhattan court room earlier in the day to reject a plea deal stemming from an altercation with Javon Smith on Xmas Eve last year. The two came to blows while doing a lil bit of Christmas shopping at the Louis Vuitton flagship store on Fifth Avenue when Jones allegedly mistook Javon for his brother and best friend of Jay Z, Ty Ty.
The deal of ten days community service was quickly rejected by Jones and his defense lawyer, the legendary Scott Leemon who said the case is a “set up for a civil suit.”
Jones was charged with assault on February 4th and has since the altercation took place maintained he was not the one who started the fight.
