Jim Jones turned himself into cops today in midtown Manhattan after police wanted to question him about the altercation between himself and Ne-Yo and the Def Jam singers road manager which took place in the Louis Vuitton flagship store on Fifth Avenue, NYC. It was reported that Jim Jones had mistaken Ne-Yo’s road manager for Ty Ty, Jay Z’s long standing friend with whom Jimmy has a beef, probably something to do with Dame Dash of course, when in actuality it was Ty Ty’s older brother who was with Ne-Yo and works as his road manager.
In an interview with MTV News Jimmy said this “Sometimes the notoriety works in your favor, but I shouldn’t be here at this point,” he continued. “As long as no one is physically doing something to you or being that much of an aggressor, sometimes you can let these things go. I’ve grown to realize that, and I see it’s not gonna be the same for me as far as my travels in this industry. My last few situations, it seems like I’ve ended up in jail and people have used that as a way to put civil suits on me. That’s the new wave of getting money. They say snitching is big business.”
He is up in court in February in relation to this case but at least Jimmy got that taken care of early in the New Year before the cops came knocking for him.
