Kanye West has yet again responded to Beanie Sigel’s disparaging remarks about his fashion sense. In the latest issue of Smack DVD, insists that he’s neither gangsta (like Beans) nor gay.
“The n***a tried to say I was gay or something,” he told Smack DVD. “That sh*t is disrespectful. The whole thing is…I’m happy where I’m at with my life and sh*t. I like the freedom, because the second you do that tough guy sh*t, there’s a certain level of freedom that you don’t have anymore that I’m not gonna get into, ‘cause then I gotta have extra security and sh*t. So I’m not even gonna come and get on some hot shit and be coming at Beans like, ‘Aw, yeah you know. I got money so I’m a get my security up and sh*t.’”
Ye admitted, however, that he’s not willing to go to war with Beans because of the State Property leader’s street reputation.
“ Man, that n***a Beans, that ain’t like studio rapper. I’m not beefing with Beans, man. That n***a don’t give a f**k, man. I’m just saying, n***a, I’m not gay. Don’t come at me with none of that sh*t. Don’t disrespect me. I respect where he’s coming from, you know. I respect Beans’ gangsta. I’m not gangsta, but I’m not gay either. Don’t disrespect me as a f***in man. That’s all I’m saying.”
Back in May, Beans dissed Kanye and Pharrell Williams for wearing “Louis Vuitton driving shoes” and “silk shirts with the chest hair out.” Beans later added that Kanye “might as well come all the way out the closet.”
