Nike has recruited four incredible wordsmiths, Kanye West, Nas, Rakim, and KRS-One, for their official Air Force 1 25th anniversary song. The much talked about collaboration, appropriately titled "Better Than I’ve Ever Been," was produced by Rick Rubin.
The original song and a remix of the track by DJ Premier and featuring the addition of Rakim, titled "Classic (Better Than I’ve Ever Been DJ Premier Remix)" will be available on iTunes on February 20th. The tracks will be sold individually and all NIKE and artist proceeds from sales of the track will be donated to the "NIKE Youth Sport for Change Fund," to support youth programs that use sport as a catalyst for change.
