There’s a hot debate going on in hip-hop currently: who is the best Asian rapper? Sparked by Bad Vibes Forever member Kid Trunks’ self-crowning, other Asian rappers came out of the woodworks to simultaneously denounce Trunks while boosting their own brand. There’s a solid wave of Asian artist proliferating hip-hop currently, and who’s the best is a worthy debate, as there isn’t a clear-cut winner. Someone keen on making their case is Toronto’s Killy, who just announced the world tour, “Surrender Your Soul”.
Starting off in Seattle on April 28th, the “Surrender Your Soul” tour will hit 33 cities, culminating in his Brussels performance on June 23rd. Known for hits like “Killamonjaro” and “No Romance”, the “Surrender Your Soul” tour should be an electric affair complete with shattering sonics and mosh pits.
Killy’s in-demand 33-city international tour definitely catapults him to the top of the best Asian rapper conversation, if not cementing his number-one spot.
