XXL caught up with a rep from Def Jam’s parent company, Universal Music,  and they stated:

• “[The rumors] are completely untrue and without merit,”

Good thing I put a question mark on the story earlier.  Ok so the guy didn’t get fired.  However it’s not a good reflection on the jon your doing when a rumor of you getting fired is so believable.  If it comes out a month from now that L.A. has decieded to “leave” the company I wouldn’t be suprised.
