LAID TO REST

Yesterday saw the three family members of the Hudson family laid to rest. The lives of Darnell Donerson, her son Jason Hudson and her grandson seven year old Julian King were celebrated by over 450 mourners at the Apostolic Church of God on Chicago’s South Side. Tragedy struck the Hudson Family late last month when Jennifer’s Mother and brother were found shot dead at the family home and three days later the body of Julian King was found in an SUV which had belonged to the child’s uncle.
Mourners included Beyonce, Patti LaBelle, Queen Latifah who stars along side Jennifer in her recent box office hit The Secret Life of Bees and American Idol winner Fantasia sang at the funeral. Jennifer Hudson has been staying at the house of Oprah Winfrey during this troubled time.
William Balfour, the estranged husband of Julia Hudson, Jennifer’s elder sister is still the prime suspect in the slayings.
