Lauryn is nothing if not a poignant social writer. Her "Black Rage" is evident throughout her catalog and it works to good effect, producing melodic and important tropes. Though the sound is more punk, dissonant now but no less critical. Check it after the jump.
On June 26, 2014, the fourth annual Electric Forest Festival kicked off in Rothbury, Michigan. The Festival hosted a wide array of talented performers ranging from MCs, to electronic DJs, to jam bands, in a glowing environment. iHipHop was on-hand and captured some memorable moments from this year’s Festival including Lauryn Hill’s performance with The String Cheese Incident, as well as performances from ScHoolboy Q, Aloe Blacc, Stephen Marley, Classixx, Cherub, K Theory, MK, and more.
