RIP to these two young kings.
Hip-hop mourned the untimely passings of two legends in the making in 2017 and 2018: Lil Peep and Xxxtentacion, respectively. The unfortunate victims of addiction and jealousy-fueled murder, their musical potential was cut drastically short, leaving us with only their current bodies of work. But while departed musicians’ physical presences can no longer be felt, their musical lives on through fans’ continued playing of their music, memorials, and posthumous releases. Today, we’re reminded of the Peep and X’s voices with their unearthed collaboration, “Falling Down”.
