Fresh off the heels of telling everyone he wants to be a part of the solution to hip-hop and make profanity-free hip-hop, Master P has announced that his new album with his son, Romeo will drop on September 4. Yes, that is the same day 50 Cent is dropped his recently pushed back album, “Curtis.”
"This record isn’t about making money,” P said in a statement. “It’s about providing a choice, changing, and hopefully saving lives. Before we condemn others for making a change, we should take a look in the mirror and ask ourselves, ‘what are we doing? Are we a part of the problem, or are we a part of the solution? Take A Stand Records, the movement."
The album will feature contributions from Chamillionaire, Silkk the Shocker and other emcees who want to get down with P’s cause. All the proceeds from the album will be donated to a foundation and scholarship for underprivileged kids. P will also release his book “Guaranteed Success” on the same day.
