This situation is going to get superugly. Jimmy has two albums and a DVD coming out before the end of the year and Max B just signed a three album deal with Amalgam Digital. I still don’t understand what happened between these guys…I wanted to sign Max B but because the situation with Jim Jones seemed highly personal and serious questions loomed about whether Max is in fact still signed to Jimmy’s label, I decided to fall back. I guess time will tell–if Amalgam Digital gets that Cease & Desist letter from Jimmy’s lawyer we know why.In any event, Max B is talented and entertaining as hell. I just hope this one stays on wax.
