In today’s episode of “Blame it on Hip-Hop,” McDonald’s Corp. has yanked Chicago rapper Twista from their tour bus, following concerns about his “controversial lyrics.”

Twista was scheduled to perform on August 7th as part of Mickey D’s 10-city, live music tour that kicked off in Los Angeles last Thursday.

“Although we respect free speech and artistic expression, we do not condone or perpetuate derogatory language,” McDonalds said via a press statement.

The “McDonalds Live” tour will carry on with the likes of Kenna, Kevin Michael, Ne-Yo, and Kat DeLuna. Artists play for free at various McDonald’s restaurant parking lots.

As McDonalds scrambles to call in a replacement for Twista, we hereby wish them good luck in finding a rapper that’s never used the N-word.
