Mixtape Download: Game “Purp & Patron”

While people seem confused by Game dropping a mixtape despite having no set release date for The R.E.D. Album, there’s obviously a reason – the album’s not coming any time soon. Nowadays, mixtapes build anticipation for projects and I think Jayceon has that in mind, but at the same time he wants to show everyone that he’s still got it. I mean why else would he give away two albums worth of songs featuring production from Dr. Dre, The Neptunes, Nottz, 1500 or Nothing, RZA, and more FOR FREE? I guess some of these songs have been out there already, but it’s apparent that Game is sitting on a whole lot of work and is eager to get some off his chest…there’s no Premo on here, and I know Game’s been building in the studio with him, so hopefully he’s saving his best efforts for R.E.D., whenever it sees the light of day.
