The other day, we laced you with a new joint by Novel which was released in anticipation of his Legato Blues Summer mixtape.  Despite being a few days late, it’s hear, and in all seriousness a four day delay isn’t sh*t these days.

The most anticipated track from Legato is “Exhibition Rap” featuring Iron Solomon, who absolutely destroyed E. Ness in that Grind Time battle a few weeks ago.  Personally, I thought this was Solomon’s most promising work to date.  “Money, Drugs & Women” is another smooth yet hard-hitting track produced by which features the L.A. songsmith featuring him dropping gems alongside Ako and Amir Taron. Later on, Novel flips the script and begins signing like an experienced R&B legend on “Take Over.”  As a whole, Legato Blues is dope from start to finish and easily one of the best mixtapes I’ve heard all year.
