Prodigy’s return has definitely meant some good things for his career, even for Mobb Deep. Prodigy and Havoc are currently working on a new LP, which would be the first album since their 2006 Blood Money.
In an interview with AllHipHop, Prodigy stated, ”We working on it, me and Hav in the studio everyday going hard… We are not going to put nothing out there that is not crazy, because right now it is not a game, you know what I mean? We understand the importance of putting something that is going to stand the test of time right now.”
However since Prodigy’s absence, Havoc have been doing some production work on some great project which led to his Grammy win for his work on Eminem’s Recovery.
Havoc’s success with Em’s album has landed him other projects; “I did that thing for Eminem and he won the Grammy and all, so you know I got the Grammy on the mantle. Got a new one on the new project he [Eminem] is doing with Royce Da 5’9. I just did something for Ludacris. And you know I am going to be hitting 50 [Cent] off because he is coming out with a new joint.”
