Nas will join Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, and Phil Vassar for “A Concert for Virginia Tech” on September 6th. The show will be made available at no cost to all current VA Tech students and staff.  Obviously, the concert is geared towards helping the university heal and move forward after the April tragedy that left 33 students dead and several others injured.

Corporate sponsorships and sale of commemorative items will help compensate for the expenses that will be incurred at the concert.

“We’re extremely grateful for the compassion and generosity of these artists who wished to create a very special event where our students, faculty and staff can come together to celebrate the spirit and resiliency of our university community as we begin a new academic year,” said Charles Steger, President of Virginia Tech.

Tickets are only available to students and staff of Virginia Tech. Click HERE for details.
