After the astounding success of NBA 2K11, repeating MJ as the coverboy would be a shrewd idea, and adding the two other legends (as well as other bonus covers for those who pre-order the game) would give other fans even more incentive to buy the game this October 4th considering the current state of the NBA lockout.
