Takes a lot of guts to do what he just did.
The man who played the center postion for the Washington Wizards last season, 12-year veteran Jason Collins recently came out about being gay. He’s the first active professional athlete in the four major sports in North America to do so.
Since coming out, he’s gotten support from people such as former President Bill Clinton, Kobe Bryant, Baron Davis, First Lady Michelle Obama, and more. Jason Collins is a free agent now, and expects to play next year. You can check out the entire cover story right this way.
