The Baton Rouge native is keen on kicking off 2019 with a bang.

NBA YoungBoy boasted a successful 2018 campaign off the strength of releasing six projects, including the compilation series, 4Respect 4Freedom 4Loyalty 4WhatImportant–which included features from fellow Baton Rouge native, Kevin Gates. Asserting himself as one of the game’s most voluminous musical purveyors–both in terms of quantity and quality–2018 continued to establish YoungBoy’s foundation while posing him as a commercial threat.

Early into the new year, YoungBoy seems keen on keeping his foot tightly-pressed on the game’s neck as he recently came out with his new track and video, “Kick Yo Door”.

A menacing song that demonstrates NBA’s free-wielding violent tendencies, “Kick Yo Door” supplements the bevy of harrowing street tales that populate the majority of his catalogue. Shot in a DIY fashion, the music video reflects the 19-year-old’s authenticity–both as a man and as someone who talks about what they’ve lived.
