It’s that time of week again: time for a brand new edition of “New Music Friday”. Not unlike most weeks so far in 2018, this week’s edition is engorged with diverse releases from a broad range of artists, including: Tee Grizzley, Chief Keef, Playboi Carti, and more.
Tee comes through with his official debut album, Activated–an 18-track offering featuring Chris Brown, Lil Yachty, Jeezy, and more. Chief Keef has finally dropped-off the long-anticipated Glo Files, home to tracks with Lil Reese and the late Fredo Santana. Playboi Carti announced his album in a surprise fashion, and comes through with a stacked tracklist, which boasts features from Travis Scott, Bryson Tiller, Lil Uzi Vert, and plenty more.
Additionally, Ski Mask has finally been cleared to release the controversial The Book of Eli. Ace Hood delivered Trust The Process II: Undefeated. Ty Dolla $ign supplemented his 2017 album, Beach House 3, with six additional tracks.
