Nicki Minaj’s hometown of Trinidad and Tobago might be facing some serious backlash after spending over 860k on her concert. Expenses for the concert included local advertising costs of $150,000, local culture costs of $26,000, a local fashion show – $60,000, boarding fees at the Hilton Trinidad for $60,343, and local artists fees of $40,000. Booking Nicki Minaj was the biggest portion of the costs which totaled over $382,000 (in Trinidad currency) for Nicki’s talent fee plus her entourage and agent fees.

The worst part is that members of the government are also being accused of denying funding to youth organizations because of the expenditure on the concert.the concert was held to launch the Ministry’s Localize It campaign however, not as many people came out as expected due to the pricing of the tickets (up to $900).

you need to not put dollars signs if this shit is in trinidad currency…its very confusing. i highly doubt tickets were 900 US dollars to her concert there
