He’s back.

Buried in the ethos of underground rappers is a competitive scene of artists battling for breathing room. Talent is key to their discovery, but falls second to a resolute work ethic, which materializes as a strong musical output. Few can afford long lapses in releases while still remaining quasi relevant. Night Lovell is amongst this select few.

While he’s not a mainstream name yet, Night has managed to cultivate a loyal following, resulting in over 545k monthly Spotify listeners and 183k SoundCloud followers. However, despite these impressive numbers, he hasn’t dropped a track since the late April release, “Whoever U Are”. Five-months have passed, and we’ve finally received a new Lovell loosie.

“RIP Trust” is Night Lovell’s highly anticipated return. On-brand for the Canadian artist, “RIP Trust” finds comfort in ominous waters, relying on dark synths and pounding drums to structure his menacing rhetoric—sonically and conceptually. Somewhere between wear house party vibes and a bizarro Electric Daisy Carnival, “RIP Trust” soars.
