This was pretty funny to me. Jay-Z dropped a line in the new Kanye West collabo-joint “So Appalled” that referenced the fail of a career that was MC Hammer in the 90′s. Here it is for reference:
“…And Hammer went broke so you know I’m more focused. I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30. Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can’t hurt me.” – Jay-Z
Hammer then decides to try and go in on Jay-Z and, in the same motion, promote some new garbage music he’s releasing.

He’s been extremely fortunate that he can even get online to respond to this so-called diss from what he did in the past. He went from having his own cartoon and an H-shaped pool at his house to being flat broke. This is the 2nd time he’s been mentioned in a song this year – both by top 10 artists. Stanley Burrell’s life is the ultimate story of “When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong”. If there was a Hip-Hop Bible, his life would be the cautionary tale in scripture about wasting opportunity. He’s been a joke not only to Hip-Hop, but to Pop Culture for a minute now. You better take it in stride because at the end of the day, the facts are that you blew $30 million – period.
BTW – You 48 in a Karate class – You Tae-Bo ho!
