A pretty high-brow study has been released which looks at the SAT results of college students and their choice of music. According to this study by Virgil Griffith, an eighties baby computer hacker who has violated the economic espionage act on more than one occasion, if you listen to Lil Wayne, well you are at the lowest end of the scale, if you listen to German composer Ludwig van Beethoven, well Mensa is calling you, Harvard needs you and well you are just the brightest button in the box.
Also joining Lil Wayne in the lower region of the scale are TI, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson. Funny how all those powerful musical minds who vote on the Grammys gave Wayne all those nods right? Of course this isn’t the first study of its kind and I doubt it will be the last regardless of its limited resources. The findings of a Canadian study which took ninth graders from a specific area who were quizzed about their tastes in music and how advanced they were sexually revealed that the kid listening to music with sexual references and connotations the most is twice as likely to have sex than those who keep away from the same music.
Obviously Jamaica is in agreement with such ‘studies’ having banned the sexually suggestive music from radio and TV on the island earlier this month saying it encourages violence and uncalled for behavior. What happened to people just being more accountable for their actions, why does the blame always land with something or someone else?

  1. So all the music made by blacks are at the lower scale except for Bob Marley? If I listen to “Deathc Cab for Cuite” and “Sufjan Stevens” (whatever or whoever the fuck THAT is) I am amongst the intellectuals. And since I listen to T.I. and Jay Z I am listening to “stupid people” music? This “scientific” study is exactly why I have no faith in the education system in America. This study was done by a white, geeky computer hacker who was born in 1983 who was born raised and edjucated in racist ass ALABAMA! If there is some ridiculous old man out there still listening to Beethoven than where is he and what has he done for the planet lately. Where are all thses brilliant minds listening to “Davids Crowders Band”?

  2. This study may be valid with younger kids but im 23 and a senior in college and I listen to everyone on the bottom end and when I was in High school I scored a 1260. But I dont listen to Weezy. They need to study people that are a bit older than those little dummies in Canda.

  4. excuse me to whoever wrote this fuckin article……i am in highschool with straight A’s, number 4 in my class with a 4.2 grade average and i listen to wayne all the time….he is my favorite rapper of all time…i would fuckin appreciate it by you fuckin idiots not saying that whoever listens to any wayne music or other black music is stupid or dumbasses….matter of fact i listen to wayne while i do my homework and im still a fuckin good student…now think about that shit asshole

  10. Man, listen–Fuck Virgil Griffith, Lil Wayne, Beethoven & everyone in between… Its all entertainment. If you follow the shit that these people talk in their music then thats up to you. What makes you smart is how hard you work at whatever it is that you do.
