Paris Tells Kanye: “You’re Not On The List”

Paris Fashion Week didn’t exactly welcome Kanye West with open arms this week, as the fashionista rapper missed out on invites to Balmain, Alexander McQueen and Louis Vuitton, despite designing trainers for Vuitton back in 2009. Nevertheless, Kanye and his entourage attempted to gain access, leading to him being told where to go by Balmain’s reps who told Page Six:
“Mr. West requested to attend and we let him know we would not be able to accommodate him. He chose to come to the door anyway and we kindly let him know we could not accommodate him.”
Pretty snooty, but also pretty hilarious. A source also told Page Six that he then snuck off to “a separate part of the hotel, so people didn’t see him” after he was denied entry to the show. He did manage to swing entry into McQueen though, after he was eventually let through a side entrance. Bit of a bang down to earth for Kanye, who also began Paris Fashion Week by swagger jacking Liv Tyler. Spotted at NYP.
