The Essence Festival went down in a big way this past weekend in New Orleans.  The magazine-sponsored festival had alot of big names on it this year including Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Keri Hilson, Trey Songz, T.I., Monica, Jill Scott and may more.  I went to this in 2007 and if you are a fan of women, especially Black women, attending this should be on your to-do-list.  Check the pics:
