Quick question: What are two things that can immediately grab a man’s attention? It doesn’t take much to keep [us] occupied, but if you’re stumped on that one, (which you shouldn’t be) the obvious answers are women and nice rides. Luckily in this edition of Precious Goods, both things directly tie into each other like a match made in heaven.

22-year-old Cleveland native Asia Lynn comes into the spotlight with a 34-26-36 frame, exotic looks, and a love for motorcycles. This “Ride Or Die Chick” literally doesn’t get excited by being ridden; (get your mind out the gutter), but rather by being the rider herself.

Besides being a two-wheeled speed demon, the 5’5” model of ‘strictly’ African-American roots (even though hints of Asian ethnicity are clear to see) has been featured in publications such as The Source and ASIS.

Soon enough it won’t be long before you see her patented blonde locks flowing towards you, but make sure to keep your eyes on the road, or she might out ride you.

iHipHop.com: Where are you from?

Asia Lynn: I’m originally from Cleveland, Ohio… Born and raised…

iHipHop.com: How was it like growing up there?

Asia Lynn: It was always different when I was growing up, and I lived more of the city life. But after that, I moved to a very rural part, so it was definitely a different experience. But it’s been okay, besides the winters being freezing cold… [Laughing]

iHipHop.com: [Laughs]… What’s your nationality?

Asia Lynn: I’m actually just African-American…

asia-72iHipHop.com: Really?! That’s it? You’re not mixed with anything else? I thought you might be half Asian…

Asia Lynn: I’m sure something down the lines somewhere, but not my immediate family.

For some reason, people assume I might be Asian, but I just appear Asian… [Laughs] That’s why I came up with the name “Asia Lynn,” because most people think I might be… “Asia Lynn” is my alter ego… [Laughs]

iHipHop.com: [Laughs]… What made you get into modeling?

Asia Lynn: I was always one of the types of girls that were kind of into the glitz and glam. I had a photographer come up to me when I was 18-years-old, and he wanted to do a photo shoot with me, so that’s how it kind of up sprung up. From there, I got into fashion shows, runways, and promotional stuff…

iHipHop.com: How were you like when you were growing up? Were you a girly-girl, or a tomboy?

Asia Lynn: I was not a girly-girl at all… I started being a girly-girl probably like in 10th grade. But I used to wear to big Polo shirts, and you remember when Tommy Hilfiger was hot back in the day? [Laughing]… I used to wear those button-ups, and I used to have all the Jordans. My dad always got me the new Jordans, “Dad I got to have the new Jordans!”

I used to keep my hair together, but I was a roughneck little girl. I didn’t date the boys, but I’d play basketball with them, so it was kind of weird. I always had an eye for fashion, but it was more tomboy fashion rather than girly fashion. But after that, I kept getting more and more girly… [Laughing]

iHipHop.com: [Laughs] I also read that you’re into motorcycles. Are you a rider, or a passenger?

Asia Lynn: OH YES!!! And I want to be a rider… It’s my dad’s fault, because he always had motorcycles, so I was always around them. Whenever he got a new one, he would be like, “Check out this Ninja, check out this Kawasaki, check out this Buell!” But mine is going to be pink with rhinestones on it… I actually started learning how to ride towards the end of the summer, and I know how to drive a stick [shift] already, so it’s pretty easy.

iHipHop.com: Do you have a favorite model of bike? Like a 600, 750, or 1100?

Asia Lynn: I really want a Yamaha R6; I want a yellow one.

My dad actually has a yellow [Yamaha] R1, so I really want one of those—that’s really like the shape of a bike that I want. But I’ll probably get a really flamboyant color… [Laughs]

I have to do it all the way big when I come out with my bike.

iHipHop.com: How has modeling treated you so far? Have you found it difficult to book jobs in such a competitive field?

Asia Lynn: I think for the market that I’m in, I’ve been doing exceptional. But for what it’s worth, I’d say that I’ve been doing pretty well, and that I’ve been keeping up.

This isn’t something where you can quit your full time job, unless you move to a certain market. I’m actually moving to Atlanta, so we’re going to see how that goes.

I know that there are a couple more opportunities down there than over here.

iHipHop.com: Is your family supportive of you posing half-naked?

Asia Lynn: Not always… I try to have a concept of what I’m looking like when I’m doing certain things. A lot of the time it’s not what you’re wearing, it’s how you pose.

You can have a girl covered up, but she can be doing a raunchy pose, so I kind of have to watch out for some of those things. I won’t go completely out there like some other models do.

You can keep it sexy, but you can always keep it classy, and that’s what my motto is…

iHipHop.com: What are some of the things you’ve grown to hate about the industry?

Asia Lynn: I haven’t really gotten into too much negativity… But I do hate the stereotypes they have about urban modeling, like when [they] say it’s too hoochie, skanky, or slutty. That’s what I don’t like, and I want to put it out there so people know it’s not like that.

iHipHop.com: Anything crazy or funny ever happen to you on a shoot?

asia-51Asia Lynn: I’ve had people yell out crazy things and kind of delay a photo shoot, just because of the stuff they were saying… [Laughs] They’d be like, “YEAH, TAKE IT OFF!” “I LIKE THAT BABY, YOU’RE HOT!” Which is kind of funny… [Laughing] But nothing too outrageous…

iHipHop.com: Are you single or taken?

Asia Lynn: I would call it complicated… [Laughing] I got that from FaceBook, they have that option to put down for relationships, and so I just call it complicated… Technically I would say I’m single, but I like to say complicated…

iHipHop.com: [Laughs]… What kind of guys are you attracted to?

Asia Lynn: I’m really diverse, but I really like guys who are confident and know what they want. I can really tell you about the guys I don’t like though… [Laughing] But I’m pretty open…

iHipHop.com: Would you approach a guy if you were interested, or are you too shy for that?

Asia Lynn: It depends, I never tried going up to a guy. I might try it indirectly, like I might walk passed him a couple of times, and hope that he asks for my number… [Laughing] But I have never walked up to a guy like, “Hey what’s up…” I don’t have my game on like that yet…
