So Media Gasface continues to kill it with these mini docs.  I did the post on their piece about Liberian immigrants in Staten Island, and now they give us Rae’s perspective on The Shaolin.

• This week’s features Raekwon, talking about growing up in Park Hill, learning about the drug trade, and seeing kids from Africa taking over his project. The Chef also tells about the Ying side of the Island, where “The Others” live and speak with some heavy Italian accent. As he recalls driving by Sammy the Bull’s crib as a teen, he says why they’ll always be a lil bit of Italian spice in his rhymes.
