So I saw this on the news and thought it was interesting, if you were ever a fan of dance hall music or older reggae you would know who Major Mackerel is, If not he had hits like ‘Dutty Bungle‘ and Shaka Zulu, But in an interesting insight into what musical artists do after their time in the spotlight is over, Major Mackerel’s now living a quiet life in Brooklyn. Until this week, when he fell victim to that most urban of crimes: a samurai sword attack, by an irate neighbor. When asked what happened he was quoted as saying “I was singing my song, then I see him with a sword,” .
