What a suprise.  Republican’s in upstate New York aren’t really feeling the idea of reforming NY’s unrealistic Rockefeller Drug Laws because the prison system up north is big businees, and it could effect their small town economies .  I remember the first time I met Saigon and we ended up smoking a blunt on First Ave, and talking about the prison system of all things.  His whole frustration with the prison system was that it’s all just a big business, and there are people out there making millions of dollars a year  to keep people locked in boxes. A point that is apparent in the article.  I just think some of you guys should stay up on this shit.  Politics can be interesting.  Speaking of political reform, in these tough economic times, why won’t the government legalize marijuana?  We can tax the fuck out of it and help pay for health care.  I’m just sayin I will single handedly save lives.

  1. indeterminate sentences for drug felonies are harder for the families of the convict than the convicts themselves. this is the good thing with this law. no more indeterminate sentences. as for the legalization of marijuana, ditto. hahaha
