RJD2 And Aaron Livingston Team Up As ‘Icebird’

RJD2 and funk-soul crooner Aaron Livingston are set to drop their debut The Abandoned Lullaby on October 11th via RJD2’s RJ’s Electrical Connections imprint. The pair have chosen to collaborate under the name ‘Icebird’ after they hit it off when Livingston guested on “Crumbs Off The Table” on RJD2’s Colossus. According to RJ, the pair worked well together in the studio:

“I went into The Abandoned Lullaby knowing my role exactly. Both the engineering and producing – I was able to focus on both here totally, more than almost anything I’ve done before.”

The duo have already released a banging single entitled “Going And Going. And Going”. Livingston commented on his lyrics in the song, stating:

“Language is always a code, and I wanted to use that idea to expand the range of what I can sing and say”.

What a combo. Can’t wait to hear the album. Spotted at HHDX.
