Mitt Romney, former Massachusetts governor, scored his first win in the 2008 presidential race Tuesday with a victory in the Republican primary in his home state of Michigan.

"Let’s take this campaign to South Carolina and Nevada and Florida and all over the country. Let’s take it all the way to the White House," he said to a cheering crowd.

On the Democratic side,  Sen. Hillary Clinton Wins Michigan in a largely uncontested Democratic race. The national Democratic party stripped Michigan of its delegates as punishment for the state’s decision to move up its primary. The Democrats face their toughest questions yet when they debate before the Congressional Black Caucus. Jan. 21, 8 p.m. ET
