Royce has been locked up since September for violating his parole and getting charged with a DUI. He was sentenced to one year in prison but in January he was granted work release Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Apparently Royce has been recording like crazy and when he’s released later this year word is he’ll be entertaining deals from Diddy’s Bad Boy records and Nas’ Jones Experience label through Def Jam. DJ Premier will also executive produce Royce next full length album, Street Hop, scheduled to drop this summer.
