Ever since its announcement earlier this year, fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of the Wu-Tang Clan’s new album, “8 Diagrams.” Set to drop in October, RZA recently revealed in an interview with Billboard that his name won’t be the only one under producer credit. He’s enlisted some “major” names to produce some tracks but won’t share names.

"You will hear some unique sounding stuff and a vintage hip-hop spirit," he assured.

RZA also told Billboard that he’s working on a lost, vintage O.D.B. track to put on the album as a bonus record. The track was actually intended for the group’s debut album, “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)”, but came up missing.

"I lost it, because the DJ who handled my equipment back then, we just got disconnected," he said. "He actually found the tape about eight months ago and flew out to California with it. The problem is, it doesn’t sound all that great, because this was 1992 or 1993 when it was recorded. But ODB’s performance is f*ckin’ immaculate. So maybe I can find some software to restore it and put it on as a bonus track."

Wu-Tang is currently on the road headlining the Rock the Bells Tour.
