Shots were fired outside a Nas, ScHoolboy Q, and Flying Lotus concert at Colorado’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheater last night.  The shooting, which injured three people, forced the venue to be shut down as law enforcement searched for a black male with a rifle.  No arrests have been made, although ScHoolboy was detained by Jefferson County Police.  The reason for ScHoolboy’s detainment remains a mystery, as none of the concert’s other performers were reportedly taken into custody.  However, it appears that as of 11 AM EST, ScHoolboy has been released from police custody, as indicated by the Tweet below:

iHipHop will update this post as the story develops.

Update (5:00 pm):

According to The Denver Post, the gunman who opened fire and wounded three individuals outside of Red Rocks last night actually shot at a vehicle occupied by ScHoolboy Q.   The article states that the shooter unloaded on a SUV containing the three injured individuals as well as ScHoolboy Q, who was not struck by the gunfire.  One of the wounded parties was released from the hospital earlier today, while the other two sustained injuries that are reportedly not life threatening.  Why ScHoolboy was detained after being fired upon is still a mystery.
